Metaplanet Inc. has decided to issue ¥52 billion in zero-interest convertible bonds, raising about ¥51.9 billion net to repay ¥23.6 billion in bitcoin-collateralized credit (balance around $650 million) and repurchase ¥28.3 billion in shares under Project Nova. The company holds 44,000 BTC and is transforming into a bitcoin-focused financial platform.
