UK AI Minister Kanishka Narayan said the UK is working with the US government to ensure its AI Safety Institute can test the most powerful AI models before release. The Trump administration had previously asked OpenAI and Anthropic to hold back models from the UK and barred Anthropic from releasing its latest model to foreign nationals.
